Photography in the Boundary waters.

August 19, 2008

Here are a few quick sample images from my Canoe trip.  I tried to treat the trip as a serious photography expedition however I found myself very much enjoying time away from technology.  I shot almost the whole trip without looking at the screen on my camera, it often reminded me of shooting film.

  1. Heh, I love the photos! The pictures of clouds and the water is gorgeous. Got a chuckle out of the plastic glasses on the log. Just can't resist a food photo opportunity can you Luke?? Also a very cute bug shot with the bug and its very long antenna or antenne or however one spells that. Can't wait to see more. L Kay

  3. As always, your photos are very amazing! I have no idea how you made the plastic cups look great, but you did it. Props.

Luke, it officially feels like fall in Appleton. Couple more weeks and I'm going to really really miss that trip!

  5. Love the photos of your Boundary Waters trip on your web site, awesome. I want a copy of a couple of those for my wall. Also the shot of the canoes on top of the van going through a tunnel, WOW! It's getting cooler here and the leaves are falling fast, wish you were here! LKay
